They wished the RWMF concert could go on and on

It did not matter to the spectators that they had to work on Monday as the festival was ending and they would now have to wait another 12 months for the next RWMF.

The third and final day of the festival started off on a slow note with Anak Adi’ Rurum performance of traditional Kelabit music suitable for those still hunting around for dinner or still having their dinner at the food market.

The beat only started to get faster during the performance of Aseana Percussion Unit from West Malaysia with its upbeat medley of Rasa Sayang, Burung Kakak Tua, and the theme from ‘Back to the Future’ and many others.

By then the crowds in front of the stage who were sitting down and those who fell asleep woke up and danced to the music. Those who were not at the stage area immediately went there to watch the performance and danced to their hearts’ content.

When the group performed their last song, the whole area was fully packed and everyone were rubbing shoulders with each other and having a great time.

When the time for the finale rolled around, all performers played their last song to the delight of the audience.

As the finale came to an end at around 1am and confetti was released into the air, the crowd screamed for the band to play more songs but it was really the end and soon the lights went out.

The confetti-covered festival goers dispersed and left for home or Santubong Resort.
