MULU TO HOST 2^ND INTERNATIONAL GEOTOURISM CONFERENCE

The 2^nd Global Geotourism Conference will be held at the Royal Mulu Resort, Gunung Mulu National Park from April 17-20, 2010.

More than 200 international experts in geology and tourism will attend this conference, together with academicians, tourism operators, students and those related to the industry, to meet with and learn from experts, and experience geotourism in the field as well as sharing the latest knowledge findings related to the geotourism.

To date, confirmed keynote speakers include Professor David Newsome and Dr. Dianne Tompkins of Australia, and Professor Dato’ Ibrahim Komo of Malaysia.

The exciting highlights of the conference will include a full-day geotourism field trip to the Gunung Mulu Heritage area.
