Listen to the rhythmic and energetic sound of the Chinese drums during the Drum Festival. The 12 Drums symbolizing the number of months in a year, also includes a gong and four pairs of cymbals - representing a year and the four seasons - winter, summer, spring and autumn respectively. To strike these huge drums requires considerable strength; to do it in tandem with other drummers to produce music requires discipline of
teamwork and co-ordination.
