Malays, Chinese, Melanaus, Bidayuhs, Ibans, Kayans, Kenyahs… you name it! Sarawak has got it all, and it would be a sin not to have a festival dedicated solely to the diversity of the state.

The Borneo Cultural Festival is a great opportunity to experience the unique cultural contributions of the various ethnic groups from around the region.

Head upstate to the Sibu Town Square in Sibu for a weeklong celebration of song and dance.

Despite the overwhelming response from the locals, the Festival also attracts tourists from countries like China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Brunei.

Not only will you be treated to cultural performances of the local ethnic groups, several foreign cultural bodies from the neighbouring state of Sabah, as well as from China and Indonesia also pitched in to further promote the Festival.
