BIMP-EAGA travel ideal to promote agro-tourism

KUCHING: The organising committee of the thrd BIMP-EAGA Travel exchangeled by the President of the Sarawak Toursim Federation, Wee Hong Seng, paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Modernisation of Agriculture, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr George Chan on Thursday.

Dr Chan was briefed on the Travel Exchange to be hosted by Sarawak from November 1 to 4.

The Travel exchange is one of the highlights of the Visit Malaysia Year 2007 and is expected to be an ideal occasion to promote Sarawak to many foreign visitors , including agro-tourism.
